We Can Be Heroes (2020)

We Can Be Heroes (2020) is a Netflix superhero movie directed by Robert Rodriguez, set in a world where Earth’s adult superheroes are captured by alien invaders. The story centers around the Heroics, a team of iconic heroes, who are rendered powerless and taken hostage during an intergalactic invasion. With their parents gone, the heroes’ children, led by Missy Moreno (YaYa Gosselin), are brought to a secure government facility for protection.

However, when the kids discover that they’re the planet’s only hope, they decide to escape and take action. Each child possesses unique powers, ranging from time manipulation to super strength, which they must learn to control in order to rescue their parents and stop the alien threat. As the young heroes work together, they discover the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and believing in themselves.

The movie features a diverse ensemble cast including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Pedro Pascal, and Christian Slater, and offers a fresh, fun take on superhero adventures with a focus on younger characters stepping into the spotlight.
