Larry and Richard, two insurance employees, discover that their boss Bernie has been killed shortly after inviting them to a weekend beach house. To avoid suspicion and investigate the situation themselves, they pretend Bernie is still alive by manipulating his lifeless body in public. Their charade becomes increasingly complicated as a hitman arrives, aiming to finish off Bernie.

As Larry and Richard navigate parties, social events, and unexpected encounters in the coastal setting, they struggle to keep up the illusion while evading danger. The situation forces them into absurd scenarios, where maintaining the pretense is the only way to survive and uncover the truth behind Bernie’s death.
