Former vaudeville star Baby Jane Hudson lives with her sister Blanche, who has become paraplegic and dependent on her care. The two women reside in a once-glamorous but now crumbling mansion in Hollywood, where Jane’s past as a child performer contrasts sharply with their present isolation. As Jane struggles to maintain control over their confined lives, tensions rise between the sisters.
