In an alternate post-Civil War America, the legless Southern inventor Dr. Arliss Loveless devises a scheme to reignite the conflict by assassinating President Ulysses S. Grant. His plan involves dangerous inventions and weaponry that threaten the fragile peace.

To stop Loveless, two agents from the U.S. government must join forces: James West, a skilled gunfighter known for his charm and quick draw, and Artemus Gordon, a master of disguise and innovative inventor. Together, they navigate treacherous terrain and confront Loveless’ deadly machines to protect the nation.
