In a kingdom ruled by the ruthless Queen Bavmorda, a prophecy warns that the birth of Princess Elora Danan will lead to her downfall. Determined to prevent this, Bavmorda relentlessly pursues the infant princess to eradicate any threat to her reign.

Willow, a humble farmer with dreams of becoming a sorcerer, finds Elora and is tasked with protecting her from the queen’s forces.
