Brett, a recently released ex-convict, sets out on a road trip across Louisiana with Martine, a young woman escaping her troubled relationship, and Gordy, an awkward teenager on summer vacation. The three strangers are drawn together by their personal struggles with isolation and uncertainty.

As they travel through small towns and bayous, their interactions challenge their fears and hopes, gradually breaking down the walls they’ve built around themselves. Their shared journey prompts difficult conversations and moments of unexpected connection against the backdrop of Louisiana’s landscapes.
