When a technician returns from the North Pole with a frozen specimen of the original Blob, his wife accidentally thaws it, releasing the gelatinous menace upon their town. The Blob quickly begins to terrorize local residents, putting everyone on edge.
As the creature wreaks havoc, an unlikely group including hippies, police officers, drunks, and bowlers must come together to confront the growing threat. The town faces an unusual battle against a relentless and strange enemy that consumes everything in its path.
