Blade Runner (1982)
In a polluted, futuristic Los Angeles of 2019, former blade runner Rick Deckard is forced to come out of retirement when a group of advanced replicants escape from off-world colonies and return to Earth. These bioengineered beings, designed to resemble humans but with limited lifespans, are seeking their creator in hopes of extending their lives.
Deckard’s mission is to track down and “retire” the four replicants, navigating a dark cityscape filled with neon lights and corporate power structures. Along the way, he encounters key figures including the enigmatic replicant leader and others entangled in the pursuit, all while confronting the blurred lines between human and machine.
