Christine (1983)

Arnie Cunningham, a socially awkward high school student, becomes captivated by a dilapidated 1958 Plymouth Fury named Christine. He devotes himself to restoring the car, transforming it back into a gleaming muscle car. As Christine is revived, Arnie’s personality shifts dramatically, gaining confidence but growing increasingly possessive and hostile.

Arnie’s girlfriend Leigh and his friend Dennis grow concerned over his dangerous obsession with the car. Their attempts to reach him are complicated by Christine’s mysterious influence, turning the once familiar vehicle into something far more unsettling. The tension builds as those close to Arnie grapple with the changes overtaking him and the eerie presence behind the wheel.
