Cruel Jaws (1995)

When a series of brutal shark attacks terrifies a coastal Florida town gearing up for a regatta, a group of locals must confront a monstrous great white shark that’s far more aggressive than anything they’ve seen before. As bodies begin piling up, the hunt for the creature becomes a desperate battle for survival.

Directed by Bruno Mattei (under the pseudonym William Snyder), *Cruel Jaws* is an Italian exploitation film that borrows heavily from the *Jaws* franchise, even incorporating unauthorized footage from other shark films. Despite its notoriety for its derivative nature, it has gained cult status among fans of so-bad-it’s-good cinema.
