Day of the Dead (1985)

In a world overwhelmed by reanimated corpses, a group of survivors consisting of military personnel and scientists have taken refuge in an underground bunker in Florida. Among them are Sarah, John, and the often confrontational Rhodes. The confined setting becomes the base for their efforts to understand and control the zombie outbreak. As resources dwindle and tensions rise, the team struggles to maintain order and pursue a solution while cut off from the outside world.

Inside the bunker, conflicting approaches to handling the zombie threat lead to disputes among the survivors, with some advocating for scientific study and others pushing for more aggressive military action. Complicating their mission is the presence of an unusual zombie named Bub, who challenges assumptions about the undead. The group’s attempts to navigate survival and ethical dilemmas create a tense atmosphere where decisions may determine the fate of humanity’s last stronghold.
