Escape from New York (1981)

In a dystopian future where Manhattan has been transformed into a maximum-security prison island, dangerous criminals roam freely behind towering walls. When the US president’s plane crashes inside this lawless zone, former Special Forces operative Snake Plissken is tasked with a deadly mission to rescue him within 24 hours.

Armed with only his skills and a limited window, Snake must navigate the chaotic streets filled with hostile inmates and unpredictable threats. Time is running out as he confronts the anarchic environment controlled by violent factions, making the president’s extraction a race against both criminals and the clock.
