Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010)

Banksy is a graffiti artist known for his elusive identity and striking murals found in locations like post-hurricane New Orleans and the West Bank separation barrier. The film begins when Thierry Guetta, an eccentric French shop owner, becomes obsessed with street art and decides to document the underground graffiti scene. His quest leads him to attempt meeting Banksy, hoping to capture the artist on film.

As Thierry follows various artists such as Shepard Fairey, INVADER, and Swoon around cities worldwide, his enthusiasm grows. However, Banksy eventually turns the spotlight on Thierry himself, shifting the focus in unexpected ways and challenging the boundaries between artist and observer.
