Ghostbusters (1984)
After losing their positions at a university, parapsychologists Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Egon Spengler decide to open a paranormal investigation and elimination service in New York City. Operating out of a converted firehouse, they equip themselves with proton packs to capture ghosts and supernatural entities plaguing the city.
As their business gains attention, they encounter increasing paranormal activity tied to a looming threat capable of unleashing disaster on the world. Alongside allies like secretary Janine and police officer Winston Zeddemore, they face strange apparitions and uncover a sinister force that challenges their expertise and courage.
