Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

After being abducted from Earth as a child, Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, becomes the target of a relentless pursuit when he comes into possession of a mysterious orb coveted by the ruthless warlord Ronan the Accuser. As Ronan seeks to harness the orb’s immense power for devastating purposes, Quill must navigate dangerous alliances across the galaxy.

To survive, Quill teams up with a diverse group of outlaws including the deadly assassin Gamora, the formidable Drax, the shape-shifting Nebula, and the wise-cracking raccoon Rocket alongside the sentient tree-like creature Groot. Together, they face cosmic threats in a sprawling universe filled with advanced technology, starships, and alien factions while trying to keep the orb from falling into the wrong hands.
