Hancock (2008)

John Hancock is a troubled superhero whose reckless behavior has caused widespread property damage, leading the public to grow frustrated with his heroics. Ray Embrey, a determined public relations expert, offers to help Hancock improve his image and regain public trust. To achieve this, Ray arranges for Hancock to be temporarily imprisoned, sparking a change in public perception as people begin to appreciate his absence.

As Hancock grapples with his new role and the expectations placed on him, he must decide whether to embrace this chance at redemption or revert to his old ways. Alongside Ray and his family, Hancock navigates challenges that test his identity and purpose in Los Angeles.
