Hellboy teams up with his pyrokinetic partner Liz and aquatic empath Abe Sapien to confront Prince Nuada, an elven prince determined to revive the Golden Army, a powerful legion of ancient mechanical warriors. Nuada seeks to overthrow human dominance and restore the magical creatures’ rightful place on Earth, sparking a conflict between two worlds.

As the supernatural forces prepare for war, Hellboy and his allies from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense face the challenge of stopping the awakened army before it can bring destruction to humanity. The struggle takes place across a hidden world where mythical beings and dark magic collide with modern civilization.
