Innerspace (1987)

Test pilot Tuck Pendleton volunteers to be miniaturized and injected into a volunteer to test an experimental vessel. Due to a mix-up, Tuck is accidentally injected into Jack Putter, a nervous hypochondriac, rather than the intended subject. Inside Jack’s body, Tuck must rely on Jack’s help to navigate the challenges of being trapped within and find a way to communicate with the outside world.

With his oxygen supply dwindling, Tuck urges Jack to seek out Lydia Maxwell, Jack’s ex-girlfriend and a scientist who can extract him and restore him to normal size. Meanwhile, external forces race against time to recover the miniaturized pilot and the advanced vessel, creating a high-stakes adventure that blends action, comedy, and science fiction.
