Professor Oliver Lindenbrook leads an expedition from Edinburgh following the path of a missing explorer who disappeared inside an extinct volcano in Iceland. Joined by his niece Jenny, her fiancé Alec McEwan, and Icelandic guide Hans, the team descends into the volcano’s depths, charting a route toward the earth’s mysterious core.

As they navigate underground caverns filled with strange landscapes and unexpected dangers, the group encounters ancient natural wonders far beneath the surface. Their journey tests their courage and resourcefulness as they seek to unlock secrets hidden for centuries beneath Iceland’s volcanic terrain.
