My Tutor (1983)

High school senior Bobby Chrystal is at risk of missing his chance to enter Yale after failing his French class. To help him pass the make-up exam, his wealthy and strict father hires a 29-year-old tutor named Terry to guide him through the summer.

While Bobby’s friends take him on various wild adventures focused on teenage mischief and losing their virginity, he instead finds himself drawn to the different kind of experiences Terry offers. Their relationship becomes central as Bobby navigates academic pressure and personal discovery.
