Nice Dreams (1981)

In Nice Dreams (1981), the comedic duo Cheech (Cheech Marin) and Chong (Tommy Chong) strike it big with a new scheme to sell a unique strain of marijuana that looks like blue ice cream. Operating out of an ice cream truck, they quickly earn a fortune, but their success catches the attention of LAPD Sergeant Stedenko (Stacy Keach), who is determined to bust them. As the two friends navigate their eccentric clientele and dodge law enforcement, they encounter a series of bizarre situations and quirky characters that complicate their operation.

Their adventure leads them to unexpected encounters, including a drug-fueled party at a psychiatric hospital, where things spiral further out of control. Directed by Tommy Chong, the film combines slapstick humor with social satire, marking another stoner-comedy entry for the iconic duo as they tackle fame, friendship, and the pursuit of the ultimate high.
