Orca (1977)

In a Newfoundland harbor, an Irish captain’s reckless actions lead to the brutal killing of a female killer whale and her calf. The grieving orca retaliates, turning the peaceful fishing village into a place of fear and destruction. Tensions rise as the villagers demand action against the vengeful creature threatening their livelihood.

Facing mounting pressure, the captain joins forces with a marine biologist and an Indigenous tribalist to track the orca. Their pursuit ventures into dangerous waters where the whale holds the advantage, navigating its own territory with deadly intent. The group must confront both the harsh environment and the relentless force of nature they hope to subdue.
