Ready Player One (2018)

After the death of James Halliday, the eccentric creator of the OASIS, a vast virtual reality universe, a global contest is launched to find an Easter egg hidden within the game. Whoever discovers the egg inherits Halliday’s immense fortune and control over the OASIS. Wade Watts, an avid player known by his avatar Parzival, joins forces with fellow gunters Art3mis, Aech, and Shoto to solve complex puzzles inspired by 1980s pop culture and Halliday’s life.

Their search attracts the attention of IOI, a powerful corporation aiming to seize the OASIS for their own profit. Led by the ruthless Nolan Sorrento, IOI uses every resource to eliminate competitors and claim the prize. The race takes place across countless virtual worlds, challenging the contestants’ skills, alliances, and determination to unlock the ultimate secret hidden in the game.
