Caesar, a chimpanzee with enhanced intelligence, has grown up in a tranquil suburban home thanks to the care of Will Rodman, a scientist researching a revolutionary drug. However, after being taken to a primate research facility, Caesar experiences harsh treatment that challenges his peaceful nature.

Confined among other apes subjected to cruelty, Caesar’s growing awareness and abilities lead him to question his captivity. As tensions rise in the facility, he faces the choice of fighting back against the humans responsible for his suffering, setting the stage for a larger clash between man and ape.
