Jerry and Lucy Warriner, a married couple, become convinced their relationship is beyond repair after a series of misunderstandings and unfounded suspicions. Deciding to divorce, they each set out to rebuild their lives independently.

As they navigate the dating world, Jerry and Lucy continuously interfere with one another’s new romantic pursuits, leading to a series of comedic encounters and escalating tensions. Their attempts to undermine each other only deepen the chaos, making it unclear whether their separation is truly final.
