While traveling to a teaching position in Transylvania, a young schoolmistress becomes involved with a troubled man confined by his domineering mother. Her attempt to help him sets loose an ancient evil that threatens the nearby ladies’ boarding school and surrounding villagers.

As the undead terror spreads, the renowned vampire hunter Dr. Van Helsing arrives to confront the supernatural menace. His knowledge and determination offer the only hope to combat the horrific creatures that now haunt the region.
