The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)

An alien named Klaatu arrives on Earth accompanied by a powerful robot called Gort, landing near Washington, D.C. After emerging from their spaceship, Klaatu tries to communicate a critical message to humanity about the dangers of continuing violent conflicts.

As Klaatu interacts with key figures such as Helen Benson and her son Bobby, tensions rise among government officials and military forces wary of the extraterrestrial visitors. Klaatu warns that Earth must embrace peace or face dire consequences from a broader interstellar community monitoring human behavior.
