Just before Earth is destroyed to make way for a hyperspatial expressway, Arthur Dent is rescued by his friend Ford Prefect, an alien writer for “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.” The pair escape aboard the spaceship Heart of Gold, where they encounter a host of unusual characters including the two-headed President of the Galaxy, Zaphod Beeblebrox, the depressed robot Marvin, and the enigmatic Trillian.

As they travel through space, Arthur must navigate the absurdities of the cosmos, guided by the quirky electronic guidebook Ford is updating. The group faces unpredictable challenges while uncovering the mysteries behind the galaxy’s vast and often baffling universe.
