Richard Dees is a jaded tabloid journalist known for chasing sensational stories that blur the lines between fact and fiction. When a chilling new case emerges involving a mysterious figure known as the Night Flier, who flies a dark-winged Cessna and targets isolated airfields, Dees sets out to investigate the bizarre string of murders connected to this elusive killer.

Determined to catch the Night Flier, Dees pilots his own Cessna into the night, following a trail of cryptic clues across remote locations. As he delves deeper into the hunt, he encounters a terrifying pilot whose true nature challenges everything Dees thought possible, pushing him into a deadly game of cat and mouse.
