The Return of the Living Dead Part II (1988)

A group of teenagers stumble upon a hidden drum containing a decomposing corpse in an old government storage facility. When the drum is accidentally punctured, it releases a toxic gas known as 2-4-5 Trioxin into the atmosphere. This chemical has the disturbing effect of reanimating the dead, leading to chaos as the zombies rise up from their graves and begin hunting for brains.

Among the teens are characters like Curt and Chuck, who quickly realize the severity of the situation as the undead start to spread throughout the town. With limited resources and help, they must figure out how to survive the relentless pursuit of the flesh-eating zombies. The outbreak brings together a mix of frightened civilians, rogue undead, and government secrets that come to light as the group tries to contain the crisis.
