The Shallows (2016)

Nancy heads to a remote beach to surf and finds herself trapped on a small rock just 200 yards from shore. Her location is within the hunting territory of a large great white shark, which circles the waters, turning her attempt to reach safety into a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

With no immediate help nearby, Nancy must rely on her quick thinking, resilience, and survival skills to outwit the predator and navigate the hazardous ocean environment. The film focuses on her intense struggle to endure in the face of overwhelming threat while isolated in the vast sea.
