The Time Machine (1960)

Inventor George travels from Victorian London into a distant future where human society has drastically evolved. He encounters two distinct groups: the gentle Eloi, living a peaceful but fragile existence above ground, and the Morlocks, a subterranean, more sinister species that controls the machinery beneath the earth’s surface.

As George explores this strange new world, he must navigate the dangerous relationship between the Eloi and Morlocks while seeking a way back to his own time. Along the way, he meets Weena, an Eloi woman, who becomes key to his understanding of this divided humanity.
