This Island Earth (1955)

Dr. Cal Meacham is invited to a secret scientific project, where he discovers advanced alien technology and meets fellow scientists integrally involved in the experiment. As he investigates further, he encounters a mysterious visitor named Exeter, who reveals that extraterrestrials from the metal-rich planet Metaluna are secretly on Earth.

Exeter enlists Dr. Meacham and other scientists to assist in an interplanetary war threatening Metaluna’s survival. Transported through a dimensional gateway, Meacham faces the challenge of aiding the aliens while navigating unfamiliar environments and the mystery surrounding their true intentions.
