Wonder Woman (2017)
Diana, an Amazon princess raised on the hidden island of Themyscira, is trained to be a warrior under the watchful eyes of her mother, Queen Hippolyta, and the Amazonian general Antiope. When American pilot Steve Trevor crashes nearby, Diana learns about the ongoing conflict, World War I, gripping the outside world. Convinced that the war is driven by the god of war Ares, she decides to leave her sheltered home to confront this evil and stop the violence.
Diana and Steve journey across war-torn Europe, encountering the horrors and complexities of the battlefield. Diana’s superhuman abilities and combat skills come face to face with soldiers, powerful enemies, and the mysterious forces driving the war. As they navigate this dangerous landscape, Diana must uncover the truth behind the conflict and decide how far she is willing to go to bring peace to humanity.
