Ginger Snaps (2000)
In the quiet suburban town of Bailey Downs, sisters Ginger and Brigitte live as social outcasts struggling to fit in with their peers. On the night Ginger experiences her first period, she is violently attacked by a mysterious wild creature in the woods. Though her wounds heal rapidly, Ginger begins to change in unsettling ways that alarm Brigitte.
As Ginger’s transformation intensifies, Brigitte races to understand what is happening to her sister and find a way to protect both of them. The film focuses on their complicated bond as Brigitte tries to save Ginger from the dark force that now threatens their lives.
