After mistakenly boarding a plane to New York instead of Florida, Kevin McCallister ends up navigating the bustling city on his own. Using his father’s credit card, he checks into the Plaza Hotel, but faces challenges with a suspicious clerk and an untrustworthy bellboy.

While exploring the city, Kevin encounters Harry and Marv, the Wet Bandits, who are plotting to rob Duncan’s Toy Chest on Christmas Eve. Determined to stop them, Kevin sets up clever traps throughout the city, turning the tables on the duo as he protects the toy store and enjoys unexpected adventures in New York.
