In a future where parasitic aliens have invaded Earth by taking over human bodies, a soul named Wanda is implanted into Melanie Stryder. Instead of suppressing Melanie’s consciousness, Wanda discovers a connection with her host that challenges her mission to conquer humanity.

Together, they seek refuge with a group of free humans determined to resist the alien occupation. As Wanda navigates human emotions and loyalties, she must decide where her true allegiance lies amidst the struggle for survival.
