Dave Skylark and his producer Aaron Rapaport host the celebrity tabloid show “Skylark Tonight,” thriving on outrageous interviews and pop culture buzz. When they secure an unexpected opportunity to interview North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, their excitement quickly turns to disbelief.

The CIA approaches them with a covert mission: use the interview in Pyongyang as a cover to assassinate Kim Jong-un. Caught between their careers and a dangerous political plot, Skylark and Rapaport must navigate an unpredictable and high-stakes environment in North Korea while carrying out a task far beyond their usual scope.
