The Predator (2018)

When a young boy (Jacob Tremblay) accidentally triggers the return of the universe’s deadliest hunters to Earth, a new breed of genetically enhanced Predators begins wreaking havoc. Ex-soldier Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook) discovers the threat and, along with a group of former soldiers and a biologist named Casey Bracket (Olivia Munn), becomes humanity’s last line of defense. As the team battles the Predators, they uncover a dark plan: the creatures are using Earth as a genetic testing ground to create stronger hybrids.

Combining intense action with dark humor, the film reinvigorates the iconic sci-fi franchise, focusing on survival and the lengths humans will go to protect themselves against an alien threat. Directed by Shane Black, known for his unique action-comedy style, the movie explores the primal fear that makes the Predator one of cinema’s most terrifying monsters.
